Bourbon Vieux boasts the largest covered balcony on Bourbon Street, where guests can appreciate the centuries-old architecture and the spirit of the French Quarter in historic New Orleans. Our 3,555 square foot facility can accommodate groups from 50-500 and up to 750 when combined with our restaurant.
In the past, Bourbon Vieux (formerly Dan's Pier 600 Club) was home to the famous trumpet player and Jazz musician, Al Hirt. Hirt graced this space with his famous trumpet tunes and jazz music in the 1950's and early 60's.
The Bourbon Vieux has been fully renovated to restore our special venue's French Quarter historical ambience and has been enhanced with modern audio/visual and lighting conveniences. An exposed brick wall, hand painted gold leaf details, dramatic damask foyer and stunning chandeliers and sconces are just some of the touches that make Bourbon Vieux the best Bourbon Street event space – offering Elegance with a Vieux!
We offer a variety of menus and can tailor a menu to suit your desires. Let us wow your guests with a Flaming Bananas Foster Action Station or a lavish Seafood Display. If you prefer a casual Southern cuisine, then we can do all the local favorites – red beans and rice, gumbo and homemade bread pudding – just to name a few.
